Poème du Père André-Marie en hommage a une personne partie dans la souffrance de la maladie. Nous avons tous connu (ou connaitront) quelqu'un qui souffre.

Tu as quitté ton corps souffrant.

Tu as quitté la prison
D’un corps qui vieillit,
Qui souffre et qui pâlit.

Te voilà libéré.

Et j’en souffrirais ?

Libéré du temps,
Ton corps a accompli
Son chemin sur la terre,
Mais je voudrais encore
Revoir ton visage,
Recevoir l’écho de ta voix.

Si, oubliant les détails
De ma vie au présent,
Je parvenais à descendre
Au plus profond de moi
Y rencontrer la Vie,
Là je te trouverais
A tout jamais vivant,
Inoublié et vrai.

Délaissant pour toujours
Les photos où j’étais près de toi,
Là, je poserais en toi.
